NAUGHTY WHISPER
Zagreb, Route 66, 17.11.2007

Saturday 17th November the Italian glam-rockers called Naught Whisper did a gig in Zagreb in Route 66, the famous r'n'r club. The guys come from Milano, and were here to promote their first LP, Psycho, released for a new-founded label Blasted Productions.
Naughty Whisper They did a great show in Zagreb last year, and this years' gig was even better - like travelling in time, back to the most glorious days of the 80ies music scene. Naughty Whisper sound quite like the bands they've grown-up listening to, and obviously still look upon to - Kiss, Poison, Mötley Crüe and alike. The visual part is much more modern, something like the new industrial/electro/gothic looks. But not being up-to-date is not a bad thing at all, considering what much of the modern music sounds like.
They're pretty popular back home, and if they continue doing like this, they could become popular here also. Recently they got a new vocalist, Andy Star, and the bass-player Ashley X is no more the singer of the band.
They played some of their hits-to-be, Hot Playz, Two Times The Jerk U Are, Pretty Girl,  Naughty Smile, then some covers like Billy Idol's Shock To The System, and Mötley Crüe's Wild Side which marked the end of the show. Their lyrics are all about women and sex (did I say it's the 80ies we're talking about?), the refrains are pretty catchy, so no wonder everbody joined the band in singing the songs. The audience had fun and I think it's pretty fair to think the band had too, so it's veeeeery much possible they'll be here again. Next year, same place, same energy. Hopefully.
