We met Zoran Mišić through the first season of the show 'Hrvatska traži zvijezdu' (Croatian Idol) during which he impressed us by his performances of some of the greatest rock successes of all time On 13th February 2010 Zoran held his first solo concert in Zagreb and that was the right momet to talk to him for Venia-Mag.

VENIA: This is the first solo concert in Zagreb?
ZORAN: Yes, it is the first solo. The first ever concert in Zagreb.

VENIA:Saturday, Tvornica ...
ZORAN: Yes. If you have the opportunity to perform Tvornica, you perform. I am glad that so turned out.

VENIA: The same place as Steve Vai ...
ZORAN: What do you think? This is somethning that I will tell to my children!

VENIA: Who are these guests?
ZORAN:A group of Cenzura from Velika Gorica. They play punk rock.

VENIA: Your band? Where did you find them? Something about the collaboration?
ZORAN: I was in a band and then one day they called me to replace their singer for a gig. And so I came to a couple of rehearsals. Meanwhile, the singer left, they called me permanently.

VENIA: Did it change their repertoire?
ZORAN: Well, no! After we formed into something else. We are playing two or three years. We have our style now.

VENIA: You have a new single. With whom you worked?
ZORAN: The song was written by Mario Vestić, who wrote a lot for Opća opasnost. As for the arrangement, of course, Mario has brought the skeleton, and producer Ivan Oreskovic and I have done everything.

VENIA: Will you record video?
ZORAN: Yes, the video should soon be finished and released.

VENIA: Album?
ZORAN: Album should be finished in May, June.

VENIA: With whom you collaborated on the album?
ZORAN: Also with Dejan, Maria. Some songs will be mine. The band will also do its part.

VENIA:Will you have a vocal collaboration?
ZORAN: For the first album I do not believe, but in between the albums, I'm sure it's gonna be something.

VENIA: If you can choose with whom you would have collaboration?
ZORAN: With Kandžija, a rapper from Osijek.

VENIA: As I followed the HTZ, you reminded me on the winner of the Finnish Idols - Ari Koivunen. He performed only hard rock and heavy metal, and won. Do you think you didn't win because of the heavy metal music?
ZORAN: What do I know? It was not an option, to go against myself. So, perhaps it was influenced, and perhaps not. Here we are now, for a couple hours starting gig. I think it starts a new story, my story, and regardless of whether I won or not, in any case, I am a winner. With this what is happening here.

VENIA: Do you have a model from which you teach?
ZORAN: I picked up a lot of Anastacia. There is a lot of artist that people wouldn't said even in a dream that I heard of them. Each can learn something good, if you listen and appreciate.

VENIA: What have you learned through the HTZ?
ZORAN: I have learned that people can be disgusting and that these same people can be the best friends. I'm not learned much, but it was great just to experience that. See how it works, that some of show business. See it before you come into it.

VENIA: Have you watched it every time after a show?
ZORAN: No! I am terribly self-critical. When I see that I was false ... crazy ... better to not even watch. I know where I was off-key as soon as I make mistake and only I would put salt in the wound.

VENIA: A movement, performance ...
ZORAN:: When I'm on stage, I do not think will I want to go left, right, possessed the audience. Go with the flow! Does not control.

VENIA: Let's go back in show business. Is HTZ true show business or is it adapted version?
ZORAN: Definitely, it is artificially created in show business, but again, even in this you can see how many people can go low, be pathetic, and yet how many people can be great and how they can help you.

VENIA:: Who helped you the most?
ZORAN: Of all, vocal coach - Olja, he worked with us, not only with me but with the others also. We were trying to polish that sounds right. And the woman who was with us in the house - Ester. She talked with us when we know all the crack from.

VENIA:A the fans that came with it ...
ZORAN:This is super! This is great! I'm glad that people like me. It's almost been a year after the show, and people continue to approach, congratulate. I am glad that they did not forget me.

VENIA: Are you because them in it?
ZORAN: No, I am in music because of music. People used to say: don't worry, now you can have women as much as you want ... All of this is wonderful, but I do it all only because I like to go on stage and sing.
  
VENIA: I saw you have a lot of upcoming concerts. Is it gonna be more?
ZORAN: Definitely yes! We are now in the phase of booking.

VENIA: My colleague mentioned, since you're in the HTZ sang Gibonni's song, that your start in much reminiscent of his, from the album "Sa mnom ili bez mene" and that she hopes that you will be for 15 years on that level where he is today. You have the voice, energy, you just need to use that wise.
